Amanda @eatswithmands has her way with chocolate. Her no-fuss and oh-so gooey caramel date bars use the coconut original MAGICdATES as the base to make prep even simpler! This vegan and gluten-free treat will become your new favorite.
Ingredients
Base layer:
- 3 Bags of Coconut MAGICdATES

Directions
For the base layer, crumble together MAGICdATES (I used my hands) and press down into baking dish.
For caramel (middle) layer, combine pb, maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla & salt into a pot. On medium heat, combine ingredients & stir for a couple minutes. Let cool completely before pouring on top of base layer. Place in freezer for 1 hour.
For top layer, melt chocolate chips & coconut oil together in 30-second intervals in microwave, stirring occasionally. Pour on top of middle layer, top w sea salt & place in freezer for 1-2 hours.
Before cutting into & devouring them all, let sit on counter for few minutes to make slicing easier!
