Date Sweetened Waffles ✨

These date sweetened waffles are the easiest breakfast addition to your morning routine! They can be made gluten-free with the sub of gluten free flour or oat flour and only take 30 minutes to make. Batch this recipe and freeze the left-overs for a quick on the go snack option during a busy day! Toss one in the toaster and you have yourself a midnight snack 😋 Get your waffle making on! 

 

What you need: 

🧇2 cups flour (can sub for Gluten-Free flour or oat flour) 

🧇1 tbsp chia seeds 

🧇2 tsp baking powder 

🧇1/4 tsp salt 

🧇1 ripe banana 

🧇3/4 cup plant based milk 

🧇2 Medjool Dates from our Date Flight 

🧇2 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar 

🧇1 tsp vanilla extract 

How to make: 

  1. In a large bowl add your dry ingredients. Mix until combined 
  2. Add your banana, plant based milk, medjool dates, apple cider vinegar, and vanilla extract to a blender and blend until smooth
  3. Add wet to dry and stir until fully incorporated 
  4. To a waffle maker, add about 1/2 cup of the batter and cook until your desired texture. 
  5. Add whatever toppings you’d like and enjoy 😋
